Common Allergies You Need to Know

Allergies are the body's overreaction to things, which do not typically cause problems to people. You can be sure that you are suffering from allergies if you have watery eyes, runny and stuffy nose, itching, exhaustion, ear fullness, skin rashes and others. To prevent yourself from enduring common allergies, you have to know where your body is sensitive to:

Proteins found in eggs, wheat, fish, cow's milk and soy are the most common causes of these diseases, which are normally inherited, are typical to young people. Some people grow out of food allergies, except for those who suffer from peanuts. Unfortunately, they have to survive from them for a long time.

2. Drug Allergies – Are other types of common allergies.  Doctors always have this question before they give medicines to patients: "Do you have allergies on certain types of drugs?" Therefore, every patient must be sure of his or her response. Aspirin, penicillin, into-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics commonly cause allergies. It may lead to swelling, difficulty in breathing, itching and death.
3. Dust Allergies - People differ in their reactions to dust. These dust allergies strike any moment. Normal symptom is itching.
4. Mite Allergies - Mites are too small you cannot see them when they crawl and bite you. Mite allergies are caused by the mite itself or even its saliva. They reside on animals; therefore, if you have a pet at home, make it a habit to keep it clean. Similar to other disease, let you endure breathing problem, skin irritation and headache.
5. Pollen Allergies - Individuals who have pollen allergies do not stay near to trees and flowers. By being exposed to them, they find it difficult to breath and they sneeze and deal with headache and running nose. Medications come in the forms of liquids, pills and spray.
6. Skin Allergies - Plants that produce allergens cause skin allergies. The oak tree is one example of this. Common skin allergies are hives, eczema, atopic dermatitis and contact allergy. Those who have skin allergy suffer from skin itching and redness. Medications and topical creams are also very useful in preventing this disease.
The common allergies mentioned above are just a few. There are also latex allergy, hay fever vaccine allergies, hay fever, and others. To avoid these common allergies, stay at home when it is too humid. When travelling, make sure that your car doors are closed to keep yourself from pollens. Take a bath as you get home. Inside the home, clean carpets regularly. Try not to be sentimental and throw your old rags and pillows out. Do not own a pet if one of the members of your family have allergies.
